Description
Butterfly Innerfiber blade named after Tomokazu Harimoto.
Harimoto Innerforce Super ZLC is a unique blade in that it has super ZLC placed right next to the core,
which is different from all other super ZLC blades of Butterfly.
Currently I am using the blade with Neo Hurricane 3 blue sponge for forehand, and Dignics 09c on the backhand.
Composition
Limba - Ayous - Super ZLC - Kiri - Super ZLC - Ayous - Limba
(According to ttgearlab)
Measurements
I took the following measurements myself.
Head size
- Height: 16.1cm
- Width: 15.0cm
Grip size
- Height: 8.2cm
- Width
- Top: 2.6cm
- Bottom: 3.1cm
- Circumference (Bottom): 9.2cm
Performance
Rated from 1 to 10.
I am not sure if any blade would get a 1 on any criteria, but I would give a 10 if it is the fastest / spinniest / has the best feeling among the blades that I have used.
Speed
8~9
Unlike an all-wood blade like DHS N656, it shows good speed from the start even in low gear.
But it isn't too fast like other super ZLC blades, because the ZLC is under two wooden layers.
In high gear you can really feel the super ZLC kick in, but still it shows good arc and doesn't feel too fast.
Control
9.5
Better than all outer carbon blades, best among the inner carbon blades that I have tried,
but not as good as an all-wood blade.
I feel like it has a wide range of gears, but I still prefer all-wood blades in short plays.
Spin
8.5~9.5
Personally I feel it is as good as, or sometimes better DHS N656,
but my friend on the other end of the table thinks N656 is spinnier.
Feeling
9
I have tried outer carbon blades and most of them do not have much dwell time,
and I can feel the ball only as a single 'point' of contact.
But with the Harimoto super ZLC I feel it as a 'surface' of contact, and if you like all-wood blades,
I am sure you will love it.
I think most limba surface blades have good feeling.
